Our Summer Update

Phase 1

The team (and especially our brilliant research assistant Lily) has been working hard on undergoing a literature review and policy analysis. This will help us further develop the project, but we will also be producing publicly accessible outputs from these reviews. Keep an eye out on the webpage for these outputs over the coming months, and if you don't want to miss it we recommend that you sign up to our mailing list here.

Phase 2

We have obtained DVDS data from all 43 police forces in England and Wales from 2019-2025 and will soon begin our quantitative analysis. Our partner police forces have also begun to send us quantitative data for what we are calling our 'deep dive' police case studies

Phase 3

Since June, the whole team have been extremely busy undergoing interviews with a range of professionals and victim-survivor stakeholders. So far we have interviewed 77 people! We are still recruiting and if you have insights on the DVDS process, we'd love to hear from you. We're particularly interested in speaking to victim-survivors (who may or may not have accessed the scheme), all of whom will be remunerated for their time with a £20 Amazon voucher.
